This was a large scale painting done on a 18’ by 24’ canvas. It was done in acrylics using a reference photograph. It shows an ability to paint realistically and a comprehension of color theory. I achieved this by painting what I see rather than what I know, a lesson learned from a very successful art instructor I used to have, Don Moore.
